Clive Mallard is an accomplished Independent Consultant with 40 years of consultancy, business ownership and business management success behind him.

He started his career fresh out of University winning a place on the acclaimed Unilever Companies Management Development Scheme - the fast track programme for graduates. Specialising in business to business he quickly transitioned through a progression of marketing, sales and general management roles including 3 years setting up and running a Unilever Marketing division in Canada.

Clive subsequently moved into Consulting and has since led business transformation projects for some of the world’s largest companies, including GlaxoSmithKline, Eli Lilly, Johnson and Johnson, Sanofi-Aventis, Tesco, Shell and Alfa Laval.

He cut his consulting teeth with Gemini Consulting in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He established himself as an specialist in the Pharmaceutical Industry and has expertise across all phases of the business change process. He built a particularly strong reputation though for implementing and sustaining new ways of working in organisations, developing his own tools and techniques in this area.

Since going Independent he has continued to be much in demand from both Pharmaceutical companies and organisations in other industries.

He has now founded The Independents’ Consultant and is dedicating his efforts to guiding and supporting Independent Consultants around the world.
